Laburnum is one of the few plants where the scientific name is also the name under which it is known in the public. It is also known as Golden Chain. This is an entirely ornamental plant, which can grow to trunk diameters of up to 50cm. It should be noted that all parts of this plant are toxic to humans. Therefore precautions should be taken, especially when sanding this wood.
